Can I use SSI on your servers.

Yes,
you can use SSI on our servers.
SSI stand for "server side
include"
In order for you to use SSI you need
to give your SSI pages the .shtml
extension

Do you support Microsoft FrontPage?

We
do support Microsoft FrontPage 98,
2000 2003
AT this point we do not allow FrontPage extensions to be used on our servers, due to security issues.
But we do allow Microsoft FrontPage 98,
2000 2003 to be used without extensions.
This service is
only if you are designing your own web site. We do not program (ACSi's
Team) in FrontPage or assist in
FrontPage.

QUESTION:
I have an account already with ACSi and I want to add
another hosting account
ANSWER:
Just log into your Account Management Control Panel and create a support ticket, requesting the new hosting account and we will respond through the ticket system.

Do I get my own CGI-BIN
- Top
Yes, you have your own CGI-BIN and can upload via FTP. You can only ftp to a bin called CGI-BIN-NEW, this is a temp holding space so our engineers can view the script to make sure that there is no security problems with your coding. Than we will move it to the proper CGI-BIN. Please notify our support dept for review.

we do not have our banners or forced
advertising on your site.
It is your hosting space and it is up
to you what to upload to it.
Your site is banner and advertising
free.

we have no hidden fees.

Do you charge domain transfer fees.

If you have already a domain name registered or hosted
some where else we do charge a transfer fees. It is $14.95 and you get a additional year of domain registration added on to your domain life. So you benefit receiving the additional year for your domain name.

Do you charge set-up fees

No we do not charge set up fees. If you want one of
our engineers to transfer your entire website from another hosting company to ours, we can do this for a fee. Fee is based on a per basis. So email sales@acsi.us for a set price. When emailing make sure you include your web site location.

Yes, all you pay for is the hosting
package/plan of your choice.
You can point your domain name to our
DNS servers.

If you already have a domain and you want to sign up for our monthly "Basic Plan" hosting plan, which is $24.95 per month, just notify us at sales@acsi.us. Or you may choose one of our other hosting plans. Most of our clients are using the Basic Plan for hosting. Email us at sales@acsi.us for new programs and for an individual quote for your company.
Note: If you are having a problem with your domain or cannot get the DNS to point correctly, you will need to contact the company that is controlling your domain. Don't call us since we do not have control of your domain. You may remedy this problem, by switching to us for your domain server as well. Then you will only have one company to communicate with if you have any situations.

How can I upgrade my account to
another plan

You can upgrade your account via you Account Management Control Panel. You can just contact us using the support ticketing system. You will be billed at the time of upgrade the additional hosting fee difference.
There are no penalties or upgrade
fees.

amount of traffic varies with your
hosting plan.
10 gigs of traffic is more than plenty
for a normal web site.
